AppYourPadelPrivacy policy
Short version: we store your email address, the answers you give in the app, and what you do in the app so the coaching can adapt to you. We never sell your data, we never show ads, and you can delete your account and all of its data from inside the app at any time.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Racketguide Sweden AB, org. no. 559386-7814, Plommonvägen 4, 269 37 Båstad, Sweden. Questions about privacy: privacy@appyourpadel.com.
2. What we collect and why

We do not collect your name, phone number, precise location, health data beyond the three-level physical status you choose yourself, or any payment details. There are no advertisements and no advertising identifiers in the app.
3. Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers, all under data processing agreements:
- Supabase – database, sign-in and server functions. Data is stored in the EU (Ireland, AWS eu-west-1).
- Resend – sending sign-in code emails (EU region).
- Expo – delivering push notifications to your device.
- Cloudflare – streaming the technique and exercise videos. Cloudflare sees the request for a video, not who you are.
- PostHog (EU cloud) – usage analytics, with IP addresses discarded.
- Apple and Google – app distribution and, during testing, TestFlight and Google Play testing programmes under their own privacy terms.
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA; where they do, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
4. How long we keep data
- Your account and progress: as long as you have an account. When you delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account), all of your data is deleted immediately and permanently.
- Usage analytics: 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Sign-in and notification logs: 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Emails you send us: as long as needed to answer you, then deleted within 12 months.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format. You can withdraw consent to notifications and analytics at any time in the app. To use any of these rights, email privacy@appyourpadel.com. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se) or your local supervisory authority.
6. Children
AppYourPadel is intended for players aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data is transmitted encrypted (TLS) and stored with access controls so that you can only ever read and change your own data. Sign-in uses one-time codes; we never store passwords.
8. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters to you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version.
